Every child deserves a place to feel safe and a place to feel connected. For more than 50 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida has provided such places – where kids can go after school and during summer to grow beyond the classroom. LIFE IS DANGEROUS. LIVE IT ANYWAY. (LID Brands) was honored to sponsor and support the Beaches Boys & Girls Clubs during this year’s fundraising event by donating $5,000. “Our mission is to encourage and inspire people of all ages to challenge the status quo,” shared Chris Claudio, one of the owners of LID Brands, “By providing opportunities for these children in our community we are also enabling them to reach their full potential so they have the opportunity to live their best life and often change the trajectory of their future.”

Both organizations share a similar vision and mission focused on living a productive life as caring and responsible citizens. The Beaches Boys & Girls Club serves more than 150 children between the ages of 6 to 18, an overwhelming majority of which are of an ethnic decent. “How can we promote a movement of living your best life and not fundamentally help people do it?,” said Alex Cranberg, LID Brand owner, “Most of these children quality for free or reduced lunch and are part of a socioeconomic statistic where the odds are stacked against them. The Boys & Girls Clubs are providing an environment that cultivates good character, leadership skills, and impresses on them the importance of education.”
